I would recommend restarting the computer in safe mode by pressing F8 before
the initial Windows screen comes up. Then do FULL scans in safe mode--doing
at least two--until a complete scan comes through clean.

thanks for the quick response
since it was taking long time. i ended the programme but
when i open microsoft antispyware agin it wont open.
looks like some problem. so still shall i follow what u

.
I would suggest sticking with it. I too have a similar
problem in that MS Anitspyware takes "forever" to
load. But....I ran a scan that that looked like it was
doing nothing, ultimately took over 8 hours, and finally
came back with it found 110 items, which were
subsequently removed. I'm still having problems with
excessive product load times product and the time it
takes to execute some of the advanced feastures.

thanks for the info. i was not able to understand whats
happening so i ended the programme. now when i try to
open microsoft antispyware it wont open. can u help me
regarding this issue.
thanks

Yes- try it in safe mode. You may find that it works better in that mode,
and it is more likely to be successful in cleaning.
