Hi,

I am Neepa, from Gujarat Vidyapith and we have MSDN
Academic Alliance Ver. 7.0 which we got in Sep 2003.

By using Windows Advanced server 2000, i got two errors
while configuring cluster on servers.

1) Configuring cluster service through Add/Remove program
it's shows me: Cluster service setup did not find any
disk on shared SCSI..........

Is SCSI required? Why? I have only one disk on that
computer and logical partitions are there.

2) In case of NLB, I can't add a node because it shows
me system error 1753.

Please send your solution ASAP.

Thanks,
Neepa.

MS Cluster Server requires shared disk. This can be either SCSI or
fibre attached. If you're trying to install MSCS simply for development
purposes on a single node, with no intention to really cluster two
servers, you can use the /localquorum switch during the install to
bypass the need for shared storage. Do a search on search.microsoft.com
for more details.
