Problem recognizing scanner with Omnipage 14

I have been a user of Omnipage for a good number of years. My last
version was # 11. I just bought, and installed version 14 and now my
scanner is not recognized. The scanner wizard sees the scanner, goes
through all the stuff to do with testing, etc. Then when I try to scan
Omnipage tells me I have no scanner. Most of the time it simply shuts
down Omnipage.

May I have some help please?

Did you try removing Omnipage, reboot computer then install Omnipage.
Run the scanner wizard.

Sometimes you get a bad install which will correct with a reinstall.
