I have a problem with my 'A Drive' which has me puzzled, can anyone tell me
what's happening and how to get around the problem.

"The type of file system is RAW, the new file system is FAT"

Formatting 1.44mb disk - "invalid media or a track 0 bad - disk unusable"

All I want to be able to do is format a floppy disk and copy over some
files.

Many thanks for your help, I changed the FDD and now it works fine.

Does this happen for all 1.44 floppies? Have you tried using new discs?
