Hi,

I just upgraded my computer, and now I got a message saying I should
reactivate my Outlook 2002. I put the CD (it has come with my IPAQ), and it
seems to work. The problem is, it asks again for the CD every time (and I
don't want to be "activating" it every time I run the program)

Any tips?

Thanks

Hi,

Since the message goes away after inserting the Disc, its better if you try
un-installing and re-installing the program. And then activate the software.
This happens when Outlook/Office installation detects some changes in
hardware or system configuration.

Hope it helps... :)

Hi,

Actually, I just realized that the message goes away, but the Outlook still
continues with its functionality reduced (can't creat e-mails and contacts,
for example). So, it seems that it doesn't complete recognize my Installation
CD (or kinf of, given that the message at least goes away...)

I tried what you suggested (unistalling & reinstall), but first they ask me
for my Installation CD, and aftewards I get the message "This patch package
could not be opened. Verify that the patch package exists and that you can
access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid
Windows Installer patch package"

I imagine that maybe some upgrade that I made in my computer (SP-2 maybe)
change something and now Windows doesnt recognize my Outlook Install... Any
ideas anyone?

Hi,

Have you un-installed Outlook? If so, the Disc that we have, is it an
upgrade Disc or a full version of Office/Outlook Disc.

Also, tell me if you were able to un-install the Outlook program(if its a
stand-alone) or the Office program.

1) I was unable to unistall - I got a message saying that my "patch package"
could not be opened
2) The CD I have is a full version of Outlook 2002 only. It came with other
software for my IPAQ (personal agenda)

Any idea how I could force Outlook to Unistall?
