Problem Questions

Since beta 1 doesn't scan cookies,

Questions:

1. Why doesn't beta 1 scan both my hard drives?

2. Doesn't appear to scan files within zip / rar extensions. etc?

3. Located any
key loggers
password breakers on my machine?

Norton Anti-Virus 2005 will see "key loggers" and "password breakers"
and will scan within zip and rar files.s

It doesn't by default, but can if you run a full system
scan and add the drives you want. By default, it scans
the system drive.
2. Doesn't appear to scan files within zip / rar
extensions. etc?
Zip/Rar files don't execute automatically, so they aren't
spyware vectors. Not to my knowledge, anyway. :)

This is Anti-Spyware software, not a virus scanner.
There's some overlap in what AS will detect with an AV
scanner, but Microsoft Anti-Spyware is not a replacement
for your anti-virus scanners.

Thanks!
Joe
