I look after a subsection of a sailing club website, and maintain my section
in FP2003.
It seems that the main publish / synchronise buttons are only effective for
updating a complete web site, not part of it.
I then discovered that changed pages/files in the left pane since last
publish get a blue arrrow to the left of them and you can select these
individually, or some or all and click the right arrow button to upload them
to the remote site
trouble with this is that they didnt go into the corresponding folder for
the subsection of the site I'm responsible for, even though I had the
corresponding folder open in the right hand pane at the time. I then had to
move stuff around and delete the extra folder created at the higher level in
the remote site.
My only workaround solution is to have the corresponding folder open in both
panes and drag the files from left pane to right pane - and I do this by
looking for the date and time modified to select the files that have changed
and need publishing
there must be a better way that will identify all changed pages and publish
them to the correct folder?
thanks
