Problem publishing different web pages to different sites

I am trying to support 2 web sites from my desktop using frontpage 2003. I
have each web site, on my desktop, in different folders under my web sites
with each in a web site folder (folders have the globe symbol on the folder).
Everything was good when I had only the first web site. I developed the
second web site and published it successfuly.

Now when I try to work on the first web site everything is ok until I try to
publish at which point the remote site logon (in frontpage for the first
site) will not take the password ( I can go to my site admin page and the
uder id and password work fine) and the remote site panel on frontpage points
to the second site.

I suspect that if I can get the remote site pointer to the correct site the
id and pw will also work.

Does anyone know -
How do I fix this problem? and
What did I do to get this state?

In Remote Site view, click Remove Site Properties and make sure it points to
the site you want.

It acts like the password has been corrupted. I have no idea how to fix it
if that is the problem.

In that case, try closing FrontPage and then deleting the My Network Places
entry for the problem site.

If that doesn't resolve the problem, try this procedure:

FrontPage Publish Command Fails

That had no affect. When I try to publish it asks for my userid and password
and after I put them in and click OK it returns the userid / pw dialog block.
If I press ok it repeats with the dialog box alternating from a completed
password and a blank password. The userid is there each time the dialog box
is displayed.

Ask your host to reset the password, then try again using the new password.

That didn't work either. Is this something corrupted in frontpage that I
need to go to MS support?

Jim, I finally got the problem fixed. Having the host reset the password
didn't help so they deleted all the files and reinstalled the frontpage files
on the hosting site. I then rebuplished and everything worked ok. They
thought that one of the files on the hosting server got corrupted or somehow
was in the wrong location. That has resolved the problem. Thanks for your
help, I appreciate it very much.
