Problem printing design template on subsequent pages

I imported a design template. It shows on all pages of the presentation;
however, when I go to print it or print preview, it only shos on the 1st
page. Omit background is not selected on those slides.
 
Dear Lame,

Did you simply insert the image into your slide master or did you set it as
a background (Format > Background)?

Also, is this occuring when you print B&W? If so, go to View >
Color/Grayscale. Choose Grayscale or Pure Black & White. Then select Settings
Grayscale.

I downloaded it as a design template from the Microsoft site. It appears on
all the slides. When I select "View grayscale", it suddenly dissapears from
the subsequent pages.
 
When I print in color or do print preview in color, the problem goes away. I
just don't understand why it would dissapear in grayscale if it works on the
1st page.
