One of my freinds has a problem with his ageing printer. Can anyone help or should he bin it??
Printer: EPSON Stylus Color 760
S/N: BYC7073604
I was putting the printer through a cleaning cycle after installing a new black cartridge. The first 2 cleaning cycles improved the nozzle check printout. On the third attempt the printer stopped responding and all four indicator lights flashed continuously
Switching the printer off had no effect. The lights continued to flash for about 30 secs when the printer did turn off.
At power on there is a short pause then all four lights start to flash.
Power up with the ink cartridge change button depressed causes the on light to illuminate and the paper out light to flash twice then go off then flash twice and so on. On releasing the ink cartridge change button the paper out light goes out and the black ink cartridge empty light illuminates for a couple of seconds. Then all four lights start to flash
