There are 7 consecutive sound bites on one slide which will play
one-after-the-other when the Custom Animation screen is opened on the right
hand side of the screen and I click Play at the bottom of the screen.
However, when I attempt to play in View Slideshow mode, only the first sound
bite plays. Any suggestions???

Which version of PowerPoint are you using? How did you insert your sound
clips? What types of sounds are these? Have you considered combining them
all into one selection?

Am using Office Home & Student 2007 Power Point.
Inserted by adding each individually to slide.
Each clip is a midi.
How do you combine them into one selection???

You would need to convert them to WAV files, then use Audacity (freeware) to
combine them into one selection. What settings are you using when you inert
them into your slide?

How do you convert a midi to a WAV?
I have never heard of Audacity but assume if I do a search will find.
When I added these sound clips, I clicked Insert - Sound - highlighted the
saved midi on desktop, and clicked OK. Is that what you mean by inert??
