Problem opening MS Access files.

My students sent me MS Access (.mdb) files. I can open them just fine on my
desktop computer, but on my laptop I get the following error msg:

"MS Access cannot open this file.

"This file is located outside your intranet or on an untrusted site. MS
Access will not open the file due to potential security problems.

"To open this file, copy it to your machine or to an accessible network
location."

The error msg makes no sense, since the file is on my machine now.

I'm using MS Office XP.

Help, anyone?
