Problem opening Folders

Please, how do I fix this?

When I double click on a Folder, it opens up the 'Search Results' screen
with the little dog at the bottom.
Something has happened but don't know what.

How can I reset it to open a Folder when I double click on one?

It's been like this now for a week or two.
