I am getting the prompt when trying to view or open certain files like jpg
or png "this is not a valid jpg or png file" Anything I can do to correct
this problem? thanks Rainy

Perhaps I did not share enough information! I know about file association,
in folder options, and have associated jpgs and pngs with a program.. The
program opens and shows the file, but nothing shows up. Anything else I
should try? thanks ahead of time for any response.. Thanks Rainy

Hi...
Have you tried reinstalling Paint Shop Pro? When you set your
preferences or settings, check then after reinstall to be sure PSP is
associated with these images and all others you want the program to be
associated with.
Take Care...

Back when I used PSP I would sometimes get a similar error and I found
if I had PSP open first then I didn't get the error. Never figured out
why it was happening.
