Problem opening C drive

Hi, i have a problem opening the C drive in windows XP. I enter into my
computer. then, when i double click on C or D drive, a window shows up
saying: "Open with...." it shows a list of programs but, i can't click on
where it says "always use this program to open".

Does anyone know how to solve this problem??

Have you scanned for malwares? Your system might be infected with a
trojan. I have seen this behavior in Windows 98 SE recently.
