Problem mapping drive

Apologies if this is the wrong NG, but I thought I would start here.

One of our PCs, running XP Pro logged onto the Win 2k server quite
happily up until yesterday. The logon script is very simple and maps a
couple of drives.

Yesterday when the user tried to logon they received an error message
which is shown below.

System Error 1351 - Configuration info could not be read from the
domain controller either because the machine is unavailable or acces
has been denied.

As one of the drives still maps ok, the PC can obviously still access
the DC, and this was confirmed when I got the user to logon from a
different PC and the drives appeared ok.

As I haven't changed anything (classic line but I definitely haven't)
any suggestions about where I can start would be gratefully received.

Try disjoining and rejoining the pc to the domain.
