I can't figure out why I have a problem at looking at pictures that I save
from online? Does anyone know why or can tell anything about it. I try to
save the pic by right clicking on it and going to save picture as. Then why I
try to look at it. It does show up on the preveiw screen. Or it ask me to
look at what program created it.

When you get the option to "Save As" is it always saved with an
extension of .jpg or something other than that?

for the response..
Here is what the window says when I try to look at it in Microsoft Paint. It
says that it is not a vaild bitmap file or its format is not currently
supported. I not sure what to do. On my old computer it would show then right
after I saved then but it does not on this computer.

================================
What is the extension on these image files
and can you view them in Windows Picture
and Fax Viewer?

Have you installed any image editing or MS
Office programs?

The following Win98 article addresses the
error and indicates that the problem may be
related to graphics filters.
