Problem logging onto secure web page after site crash.

I have a frustrating problem. Our web site crashed last
week and was rebuilt. We have a secure web page that
requires our clients to log in to access it. We have
several clients who have a PC or two that can no longer
authenticate on that page. Other PC's in their office
authenticate fine and logging on as another profile on the
PC will allow the connection to authenticate. There are
some common factors. They are all Win 2000/IE 6 and they
all attempted to access our web site while it was down.
They have deleted the cookies and files from the Internet
Options with no effect. Also and Auto Complete entries
were cleared. It seems to be something that is being
cached associated with the user but at this point, I am at
a lose. Any ideas or imput would be helpful, thank you.
