Windows update informed me that there was an important
update "nVidia driver version 52.16", which was rather
strange since I never before have seen a new driver
classfied as "important". However, I was foolish enough to
install this one. Now, when starting windows XP I get a
message "RUNDLL. Problem with loading NvQTwk. The defined
part is not available" (I am translating from finnish here,
so use your imagination if it is not immediately clear).
What is this, and what should I do?

Click START|RUN and type "msconfig" (no quotes) <enter>.
Click the Start Up tab...

If NvQTwk is shown, UNcheck its box, then reboot.
When the prompt appears at start up that "something has changed", just
check the "don't show again" box.

If things are looking good on your system, it's often not wise to fiddle
with video drivers...and the ones offered by MS _may_ not be optimal,
according to opinions seen here.
