Problem launching VB from within Access

My PC has just been reimaged with Windows XP, which it
already ran before the reimaging. I have a database that
runs VB procedures (or ran such procedures). The DB
exists in several iterations of the software.

My latest version 1.5.5 ran perfectly well before the
reimaging. I needed to make a change in the code today
but when I attempt to open VB from the database, access
quits unexpectedly.
If I do the same test on version 1.5.4, there is no
problem and I can open VB.

Has anyone experienced such a behavior?

Thanks for your lights

Despite the lack of interest created by this post. I
thought you might like to know that I solved my problem
by recompacting and repairing the database. It's very
strange. I don't understand what could have happened. It
seems to have cleaned something anyway.

Paul.

It's not a lack of interest Paul, it's just that its not one
of those problems people run into.

Anyway, glad you found a way around the problem. Makes you
think even more about having a good backup scheme though.
