Problem installing Windows Updates to XP Pro computer

[LCP]

I am trying to download and update the following 3
updates to my WIndows XP Pro system.

Update for Windows Media Player 9 Series (KB837272)
Update for Windows XP Shop for Music Online Link
(KB833998)
NVIDIA display software update released on October 06
2003.

The download seemed to go ok, but then I received a
message that no updates were installed and an error
number of (0x800C0008).
