Problem installing SP1a

I went to the download site to get Service Pack 1a. Since I was not
using IE, but rather Netscape, I downloaded the extractor file
sp1aexpress_usa.exe successfully. However, when I tried to run the
installation it halted midstream. I was in the stage of downloading
files and patches. The detail box said:
Connecting to http://xpSP1.microsoft.com/isapi/pstream3.dll/xp/SP1.USA.1106a

Then I got a Service Pack 1 Setup Error which said:
The following error occurred while Service Pack 1 Setup attempted to
download the Service Pack 1 files from the internet: The system cannot
find the file specified.

My cable connection was functioning, so I assume it was a problem with a
missing file on the MS download site. What do I do?

Thanks for any help.
Ken

As long as you keep WinXP, you'll need to install SP1a again and again. You
need that after any reinstall of WinXP, which, in my case anyway, is a
frequent necessity. So, get the CD (of SP1a) from your Microsoft
representative for a small nominal sum or even free. For US:

Post back if you still have difficulty.
