I am trying to install a second drive on my xp machine. When starting
up it detects both hard drives and the cd rom but instead of trying to Load
Windows XP, on the primary master, it tries to load WIN 95 on the Primary
Slave.
What Am I doing wrong

Does the second hard drive have Win95 on it and it tries to load, is that
what you are saying?

Was the second hard drive once used in a Windows 95 machine
as the primary drive? If there is no plans to dual-boot using
a third-party boot manager between Windows XP and Windows 95,
then remove the primary partition from the second hard drive,
re-partition it as an extended partition and install it as the
primary slave in the Windows XP machine. Finally, use XP's Disk
Management to complete the configuration of the second drive.
