I have some older game software that is not installing properly on my new XP
machine (The You Don't know Jack series). Wheni I go to install, it checks
for the software on my machine already, and eventually either comes up with
a GLSSTUB error or the following error mesaage:
"Application Error Install caused a general Protection Fault at module
GLC0001,tmp at 0003.098E. Choose close. Install will close"
Now, I should say that when I first got the machine I had moved over many of
my applications using PC relocation s/w, and undid the results several times
because they weren't to my liking. My theory is that parts of the old You
Don't Know Jack s/w remained and are now conflicting with the install.
Anyone have any suggestions?
