Hello...
After installing the LAN card (Intel) and drivers from the floppy, I can't
log onto XP....
Ater each reboot I get the Windows XP Screen and then the system again
reboots immediately with the various options...safe..with
networking...Normal.....Last known etc etc...
Surprisingly there is no error message on Event Viewer !!!

I installed the LAN card on ME...and there was no such problem though I have
to yet configure it to function ..
I have downloaded the latest drivers from Intel site and reinstalled them
(though without the card in place as then I couldnt log onto XP) but there
was no improvement...

On XP, I tried to install the Create & Share Updates for Intel webcam and
faced similar problem of the system restarting while the cd was updating the
camera drivers...!!!

There appears to be a problem with my XP as I could install the Create &
Share Update on another machine with XP..
Please help....
Thanks

Are you certain that your card is compatible with Windows XP?

Are the drivers on that floppy disk Windows XP drivers?

Yes Tom, otherwise I wouldn't have posted here.
I had also downloaded and installed the latest XP Compatible drivers from
Intel site, as posted already.
Thanks anyway
