problem in filesystem

Hi,
W2k server SP4, 2CPU, 2x20GB raid stripped hdd, ntfs.
Filesystem has some errors, chkdsk in stage 4 stops at 36%.
What can I do? Is there alternate tools?

I'd suggest rebooting into the Recovery Console and running CHKDSK from
there and see if it will run to completion.

When CHKDSK appears to "stop" at 36%, does it display any sort of message?

hi. my name is mehmet i am a computer programmer. i think your problem is
about hdd surface. it can be a bad sector in your hard drive. can you check
with a win98 startup disk or cd then run "scand?sk.exe /surface " and you
can see have a bad sector or don't have.

try it.
