As you did not include the post you are referring to, nor your version of
windows or IE, I can only give some general suggestions. Such errors can
also be caused by a DNS failure. Try the following and see if they help:
Cannot find server - DNS error
Line 68 right hand side.

Reboot when done.
Do a Search of your hard drive for a file named HOSTS with no
extension. (Not Hosts.sam)
Make sure Windows is set to show hidden files and folders and is NOT set to
hide extensions for known file types. (In Wondows Explorer.)
If HOSTS exists, rename it to HOSTS.OLD
Reboot an try again.
