Hello all,

I tried to copy files from a CD-ROM (CR-R) to drive C:.
There are two directories on my CD-ROM. When i copied the
files in the first directories, the copy was successful.
But when i tried to copy the files from the second
directory, it failed. It gave me this error message -
Cannot copy Filename: cannot copy from the source file or
disk.
After a little investigation, i realised that the file
attributes in the second directory are all READ-ONLY,
whereas there is no file attributes on the files in the
first directory.

Is this what causing the copying problem? And how can i
overcome the problem???

Thanx in advance.

Francis

Hi Francis,

All files/folders on a CD-R would be read-only, this is the very nature of
the media. It's not the cause of your problem. You may want to try clearing
your local temp folder.
