Hi all, a friend of mine showed me this kind of problem: after havin
modified the columns of Outlook 2000 contacts, in "telephone" kind o
view, having added some other column, when he tries to click on a ro
of a contact, appears a pop-up that tells him some stuff like "th
module is not registered on the libraries....are there possibl
security exposures by using macro....." and so on (i apologize for no
having copied the exact message).
On the pop-up there are two choices: "active" and "do no active" but o
both those choices the contact card opens successfully.
Is there a way to make disappear this annoying pop-up?
Did you ever noticed it?
Thanks for your answers!

I suspect that this is the enable/disable macros message from an unpublished
or oneoff custom form, but "tells him some stuff like" doesn't give us much
to go on. Please provide the exact text of the message.

Are these contacts using a custom form? What "some other column" was added?

Hi Sue, i tell you the text that is sent: by the fact that the text is
in italian, i send you a translation.
It appears a pop-up box:
--------------------------------------------------------
Notice: opening of xxxxxxx yyyyyyy in progress
"The module of this element is not registerd in the folder o in module
directory of own company. It's important know that macro included in
the element could have virus and damage the computer.
If you are sure of coming of the element, choose Active macro. In
contrary, choose Deactive macro."

Thanks. That's the "enable/disable macros" prompt that occurs when the user
opens an item created with an .oft form template that has code or a
published form that has become a "one-off," i.e. embedded in the item.

I can't tell much from your latest message about the original problem
(Please take the time to quote the original message.) But the subject
suggests that you're adding new user properties. If that's the case and the
items are using custom forms, you will get the enable/disable macros prompt.
The solution is to create the fields in the custom form.
