My first problem occurs when when i start up my laptop
windows xp, it shows the blue family logon screen with
the small windows logo and it says that windows is
starting up and it stays like that for a long time.
please help me. i am really stuck. My computer started to
do this after I removed novell from the control panel
networking-properties-select novell-uninstall. My 2nd
problem is every time that i turn on my computer i get a
window that says "failed to log on as system
administrator, please make sure that the password and
domain are correct. How do i fix it so i dont get this
prompt

I can't really help with the first problem. But the 2nd, I
just ran into a similar problem today. I had my computer
set to login automatically under my user name, while
working on the computer I changed the password for that
username, not thinking, and upon next bootup I received
the same message you are receiving. I went to Start->Run-
Control Panel->User Accounts-> Advanced and selected
Require users to press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to logon. You will
have to press ctrl+alt+delete everytime you log on. Or you
can just try resetting the password back to the original
and see if that works.
Let me know if this works for you.
