Problem Formulas Referenced to PivotTable

When I reference a formula to a PivotTable and try to copy
the formula down the rows with the drag and drop, the
formula will not change reference to the next row.

You've run into one of the "interesting" changes to
Excel. My guess is that your reference in the pivot table
starts with =GETPIVOTDATA... If you copy this formula,
the values will never change because it is pulling a VERY
specific piece of data from your table. This is handy at
times but not all the time.

However, if you don't plan on changing your pivot table
around much, you can manually create the reference =b10
and copy that down the page. Excel will take it from
there.

Are you getting links that contain the GETPIVOTDATA function?

You can choose Tools>Customize, and from the Data category on the
Commands tab, add the Generate GetPivotData command to one of your
toolbars. Use this button to toggle the feature on and off.

Or, you can type an equal sign, and type the cell reference, instead of
clicking on the cell to reference it.
