Got a bit of a problem... Got a Windows XP machine that on boot say
the hal.dll module is not found. So I loaded a Windows XP CD into the
drive, booted from it, and went into the recovery console mode. I then
found out I can't change directories into the \windows directory as I
get an access denied message. Tried the same thing but using the
Windows 2000 CD that I had. I was never asked for a userid and/or a
password. So what gives?
