I have an Access database and am having problems entering data into a
textbox. Normally the textbox in question would be blank to receive
'worker's initials'. However, now all I get in all the records is #name? If
you try to delete this to enter the worker's initials all you get is a
beeping sound. There is no way to enter text. Can anybody suggest why this
might be happening? Thanks in advance.

Did you recently change the underlying table or report? This sounds like
the RowSource is set to an incorrect field name or something.

Not as far as I am aware!

Check your Control Source - something's referencing a field name that's
no longer valid. Is there some calculation in there or something? Check
for typos too.
