I'm running IE 6 and after downloading the August 2003
security patch (I also downloaded a couple of other
Microsoft updates, being a root certificate update,
DirectX 9.0b En-User Runtime, and 817787 Security Update
for Windows Media Player 7-1)I am having trouble
downloading files/programs. Don't know if this is a
coincidence or not. I've got a satellite connection and
everythng appears to be okay (upload/download speeds)
satellite strength, etc. (The satellite customer support
techs aren't much help). Downloads just hang and never
complete. Anybody experience anything like this and have
an idea what the problem may be? All help is greatly
appreciated.
