Hi all - I've been having some problems with my web browser.

It is having trouble displaying small GIF files on many different sites -
sometimes just a 'blank' filler or 'x' appears instead, and looks very ugly.
Sometimes , however, it loads fine. If I refresh the page they usually
load, but its annoying. I would say the GIF images fail to display maybe 1
in 3 times.
There is no problem with JPEGs, however.

This happened around about the time I installed IIS. Dunno if there's any
relation.

What could the problem be? Browser is 6.0 SP1, O/S is XP Pro (non SP1).

David,
You may need to clear your TIF as you may have a corrupt file there.

Close all instances of OE and IE
Control Panel | Internet Options | General tab
Click the "Delete Files" button, when prompted place a check in:
"Delete all offline content", click OK
Click the "Clear History" button, click OK.
Click the Settings button, adjust the TIF size to 50 mb, click OK

Possibly your cache folder is corrupt:

Unfortunately this did not help the problem, but thanks anyway...
