Hello.

I'm running Windows MCE, and copied over a couple a couple of account
folders from a different PC that was 'decommissioned'. I've found that I
cannot access the contents of these folders nor delete them, even from an
account with full permissions.

Suggestions?

Thanks in advance - Dave

You need to take ownership of the files. Take a look here for
the procedure:

Good luck

I am sorry as I just now sign on as a new user. Tried to start new thread
and couldn't see how to do it. Problem I have is deleting a file. I
downloaded AVI files and it was loaded in shared file folder. I tried to
delete and it gave a message that the file could not be deleted because it is
being used by another program or person. I tried moving file to my documents
and then delete, it just made a duplicate and now both will not delete. I
stopped my internet service and that did not help. I scanned file with
McAffee and it shows no virus. Just can't delete. I am sorry this does not
relate to your problem. Just trying to get a quick answer.
