Problem deleting files

When attempting to uninstall, other entries still remain - when attempting to
delete these files the following error message comes up and I am unable to
continue:
"cannot delete - access denied. make sure the disk is not full or write
protected and that the file is not currently in use"
do not understand how to proceed as have very basic computer skills
Please Help
 
Not knowing what you are trying to uninstall it may be that the program is
being used until you restart the PC. Have you restated then tried to delete
the files again.?
