Hi all,

It's been a really really long time since I've used Excel, and now
need to create charts based on data I've been tracking, however,
can't seem to make the charts represent the data in the way I need fo
it to show up. Attached is what my data looks like: (also I need
different graph for each phone #). Can anyone help me PLEASE !!!!!!
need to find a way to do this ASAP. I've tried reformating my dat
every which way I can and nothing seems to work.

Paste a sample of your data as text into your next post. ExcelForum
accepts attachments, but they aren't propagated to most of the news
servers. And an attachment isn't usually necessary to provide an
adequate description of the problem.

Good morning Jon,

Thanks for the reply. I've pasted a sample of my data below, I hop
it's readable. That's why I originally included an attachment becaus
when I attempted to paste the data before, I was garbled together an
difficult to read. If anyone has any questions about what I'd like t
accomplish in the way of charting, please let me know. Thanks!

Start Interval Dialed Call %Intvl

59 866-363-8669 59 63%
35 877-963-8932 35 37%
----------------------------------------------
Total 94 94

22 877-963-8932 22 42%

I'm not really sure how to interpret the data. I see total, attempts,
and a percentage, but the first two equal each other, indicating 100%.

I think you might be able to use pivot tables on the data, if you
arrange it first. Make columns for Date, Phone Number, Attempts, Total,
Success Rate (or whatever the items are). You can make a pivot table
which will be able to break out by different phone number and by date,
with the other numbers tabulated in the data part of the pivot table.

Pivot tables are a little confusing at first, but they are very
powerful, well worth the half hour or hour it takes to figure them out.
If you have difficulty, please post back.
