Problem copy file from one share to another

Hello

Using my Windows 2000 Pro machine, I try to copy files from one share (on a
VMS machine) to another share (also on a VMS machine). The problem I get is
the following:

When filesize <= 4KB:
Everything is OK

When filesize > 4KB
I get the error "Error performing inpage operation"

When filesize > 256KB
I get the error "The specified network name is no longer available"

I also tried to copy the files from the first share to a folder on my 2000
machine and then copied them from that folder to the second share and
everything went OK, no matter what the filesize was.

I've been in contact with a specialist at HP because I thought it was a VMS
problem (using Pathworks to create the shares) but he thought it was a
Windows problem.

Most solutions regarding error message "Error performing inpage operation"
involves replacing the faulty diskette, but that is not applicable for me (o:
