Problem converting my LCD TV as second monitor

I have connected my Dell Latitude D610 Notebook with an external monitor
(PRIMA LCD TV). ON D-SUB mode I am able to view PRIMARY SCREEN (Monitor 1).
But no matter what I try the can make this as my secondory monitor. Please
help?

Check in Control Panel - Display - Properties - Settings

If two adapters are listed you should be able to specify which is the
primary one.
