I get the above code when trying to access the
www.autotrader.com web site. This happened on my old
PIII, 450mhz, 664mb RAM PC, and now it happens with my
brand new AMD processor, Gigabyte motherboard, 1 gb of
RAM, and 80gb hardrive. Any one know why I cannot get
this site to load? I get the same problem on just a few
other sites but this one is all the time. I would say
99.9% of other sites load ok. I use Windows XP Home, and
Office Professional. I have the current versionso f
Flash and Shockwave, plus the current version of Java
Software for the Desktop/ Thanks for looking into this
for me.

Hi,

From Control Panel> Internet Options> Advanced> uncheck "Enable third party
browser extensions." If that helps, another program is interfering with IE.

Try disabling, for diagnostic purposes, other programs running which might
be causing this. Look at any program which might be interacting with IE or
your internet connection- firewall, anti-virus, internet security, download
managers, cookie managers, ad-blockers, etc.

Hope this helps,
