I am having problems getting my desktop PC to access shared files on a
Buffalo Linkstation Live via my wireless network.
The PC is seeing the drive but will not map to it. I get the error message:
"Could not open the shared folder. Confirm drive status."
in Buffalo's NASNavigator2 program.
Windows will not map the drive.
I think the problem may be with the network settings on this PC as I can
access the Linkstation fine wirelessly on my laptop via the same router.
I can access the Linkstation fine on the desktop using FTP wirelessly. I can
also access the Linkstation files fine when it is connected by cable to my PC.
I am running Windows XP Professional Version 5.1 (Build
2600.xpsp_sp3_gdr.080814-1236:Service Pack 3)
Has anyone got any ideas on what could be wrong?
Thanks
Stephen
