This may have been reported, but I'm not going to go
through 30 pages of messages to find the reference
since "Search" doesn't seem to be active.
Anyhow, I logged into a remote WinXP PC from my WinXP PC
and both of us have PCAnywhere 11.0 to communicate. I
immediately noticed that my session was unusually and
painfully slow. But, even more than that, I saw multiple
MS AntiSpyware icons start showing up in the lower right
part of the System Tray of the Remote PC where I only
ever saw one icon for MS AntiSpyware on my local PC. At
one time, I saw at least 5 MS AntiSpyware icons avtive
and visible. I could tell, too, that the fewer of those
icons the quicker my session response was in PCA 11.0. I
immediately did a Shutdown Microsoft AntiSpyware and all
of my speed in my PCA 11.0 came back as expected.
I don't know what the problem is. But, there definitely
is some incompatibility between PCAnywhere 11.0 and MS
AntiSpyware Beta 1.
I hope it can be fixed before the next Beta and
definitely before the final "gold" release.
