On an AMI BIOS, for example, 8 short beeps means "missing or defective
display adapter", which does sound reasonable for your situation! Most
likely an issue with your 6-pin connection, but I'm not an expert on those
as I don't have one. What card did you have in there before (if at all)?

Is this a new system you are putting together? If the motherboard is an
A8R-MVP, make sure the X1900 is in the blue PCIe slot, and the continuity
card in the black PCIe slot.

Hi! None, this is my first pc with pci express card and mobo. How can I
check about this 6-pin issue?

I'm very sorry, I don't know. Try the jumper reset for BIOS maybe? Also
boot without any other cards present (if that isn't what you are doing
now). Are there any jumpers you must set on this mobo? Check everything
and then check some more.

If a friend has a pci-e system you could try your card in his machine if
he's willing (don't have to load Windows, just get his BIOS), or you could
try to borrow a pci-card to try in yours (tint risk however that you'll
break it I suppose), or get another PSU from somewhere and try that. You
need to find ways like this of ruling components out (or in!). Failing
that, consult a dealer in all honesty. Sorry it isn't working out for you,
can be an awful thing when you spend days worrying over something that
should be fun.
