Problem after Recovering deleted messages

Using Office 2003, I first deleted a few thousand messages from my Deleted
folder. Then I had second thoughts, so I Recovered the Deleted Messages
using the Tools menu. The result seems to be that all of the messages that
were once in my Deleted folder are now in my Inbox. The problem is that now
I have to pick through my Inbox and to carefully pick out messages that I
want to delete (move to the Deleted folder). I wish that I could somehow
sort out the messages that were already in the Deleted folder in the first
place. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Yes. SBS 2003. (I thought that Recovery of deleted messages is only
possible if you have an Exchange (or some other email server?)).

In a nutshell, I recovered deleted messages & now wish I that had not. The
messages that were once in the Deleted folder are now in the Inbox. I'd
like to Undo the recovery. If that's not possible, I was hoping there was
some way maybe to sort out the Recovered messages that are in the Inbox so
that I can delete them again.

I use Exchange 2003. When I recover email, it goes back
into the folder it was deleted from. In your case it would
have recovered to the "Deleted Items" folder.

I am not aware of how SBS works. You may want to ask
on the SBS list.
