Problem Add domain user the any group

In Win XP PRO, Everytime I try to add a domain account into the poweruser
group the MCC crashes and I get this Error " APPName MCC.exe APPver
5.12600.2180 ModName: netapi32.dll ModVer 5.1.2600.2180 Offset 0035bff".
Can someone help me fix this probelm.
