Problem accessing web pages . HELP!!!!

I have windows XP pro and recently I installed Service Pack2.
Now I can connect to internet but I'm not able to browse the webpages.

I tried the microsoft online support page " trouble accessing secured
webpages using windows explorer 6 with SP2" But it didn't help me.
