Our local office has several Windows XP/2k machines hooked up to a Win2k
Server domain controller. We recently added a new machine to the domain.
The machine shows up in the list of machines in our domain, but when I
click on it from my Windows XP machine, I get the following message:
"\\foo is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this
network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if
you have access permissions. There are currently no logon servers
available to service the logon request."
In looking through the event log, I see that I received an error 1058.
"Windows cannot access the file gpt.ini for GPO ...
I've looked at the help associated with this error but it didn't seem to
help. I'm not sure what to try at this moment. Any help on this problem
would be appreciated.
Thanks.
