Problem accessing My Computer from within My Documents and vice versa.

Since upgrading a Windows 2000 server to Service Pack 4,
we are getting the following problem:

Within the My Documents folder, if you click on the blue
link to My Computer, it fails with the message

Microsoft Internet Explorer
Cannot find 'file:///;;%20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-
08002B30309D%7D' Make sure the path or Internet address is
correct."

I think the code refers to the My Computer folder as when
you try to access My Documents from with My Computer, a
similar message appears with a different code.

Has anyone ever come across before and can offer any
suggestions?

Thanks

Terry Vaughan

I'm having the a similiar problem since upgrading to Win2000 sp4, except that I don't get an error message, it just doesn't do anything. This is in the "see also" links on file explorer. Under my computer, the network and dial-up link works, but the my documents and my network places don't. If I go to my documents, my network and my computer links don't work
This is pretty annoying
