befuddled fiddler

I have around twenty different powerpoint presentations that I would
like to be able to play sequentially and then after playing presentation
#20 loop and start to play the whole lot again from the beginning.

I deally I would like to be able to put the whole shebang onto an
autorun CDROM so as all the user has to do is put the CD in and let it
run forever from there.

Can this be done? And if so, can someone please point me in the
direction of an informational website that will instruct/advise me on
how to achieve this.

I am not a regular MS product user and we don't actually have a windows
guru handy that could help. I don't even know one but if you need help
with TSX32 I can help you.

no problem my friend, you had one question and i answered it! :) Any other
questions my child? :)

Depending on what version of PPT you are using, you have several options.

If building in XP-2003 the easiest would be to take advantage of the new
multiple masters ability. Insert each set of slides into one master
presentation and select "keep source formatting." Then under SLIDE SHOW >>
SET UP SHOW select LOOP UNTIL ESC. Save the presentation as a show/.pps and
you are done.

If building in 97 or 2000 then you will need to create a link to the next
presentation. Have the final presentation link to the first presentation.
Done. Here additional information on creating the needed links:

Thank you very much Troy. It's becoming exceedingly rare to find anyone
on usenet these days that even tries to be helpful. Most responses are
usually some sort of gratuitous smart comment made by social pariahs.

Thank you for your response and helping restore my faith that the great
unwashed rabble that have colonised the internet since the invention of
the 'any' key have not yet won.

lol... oh come on now.. look into the history of this newsgroup. Most posts
are very useful. I just had a difficult day and am letting out some
frusteration. I promise it will not happen again!

yeah you're cool mate. No wuckers.
Unfortunately for us both I have had the same sort of day in which I had
told myself I would get smart comments instead of help. You were just
lucky to be at the front of the queue :0

And thanks for that, Mark.

You know the history of the newsgroup so you know we try *really* hard to
keep it friendly and helpful (even if a bit prone to distraction and thread
drift every time Mikey mentions those blasted worms he's so fond of
nibbling).

So whatcha do when you've had a bad day is write any crazy response you
like, then poke that little X at the upper right.
Venting into the Null. Not quite as satisfying as the real thing, but
nobody vents back either. <g>

All the best ...

Uhh, hmmm. I resemble that remark. I disassmble that statement. I assemble
Sea Worms for my main course. Drifting, drifting.....

See what I mean? There's just no escaping it. He's harmless, folks. Just
don't stand too close to 'im after he's et.

I am Type-O but I am not sure if its O positive or O negative... I keep
forgetting to ask.
